How about growing a mustache?
I was in dilemma this morning. But thank you to Adhie, his helpful suggestion made me go for Seberang. In other word, Kek Lapis.

Fee: RM 0.50nett
My first trip on Sampan to other side of river was wonderful if not memorable. Perfect timing too as it was cloudy and calm. I shared the boat with some other 'tourists' who claimed they will be leaving today for election tomorrow when they were asked why they were here. We giggled at the not so honest answer.

Ah... Dejavu!
I let the others lead the way... While I snapped pictures here and there making sure I got all the best shot for memories. As it happen, the way to Kek Lapis haven was on the right. So here I come!

Dayang Salhah's Kek Lapis...
Didie & Linda recommended this shop. I bought three Kek Lapis: cheese, blueberry and the other one I don't remember now. I don't dwell for long. Took what I want without tasting then paid the bill: RM 40. I left immediately before the shopkeeper started to remember my face. I did the same thing at the next shop.

Mira Cake House
I passed this shop first, before I found Dayang Salhah's shop. Since it was recommended by Adhie I decided to take a peek too but bought more than in Dayang Salhah's. "Beli lima dapat kotak", said the 'girl' at the counter. The girl happen to be a guy... Shit! In Mira Cake House, I grabbed "Ombak Rindu", "Michael Jackson", "Famous Amos" to name a few... I handed a RM 50 note to that 'girl'.

Afifi's Kek Lapis
One name also cropped up: Afifi's Kek Lapis. Unfortunately the shop is closed. The temperature started to rise and I have only two hands. No camera hand, guys! So I guess its time for me to leave.

Perfectly convenient!
This summed up my trip this morning. Back to hotel room, get some rest, before going out again for lunch. Not sure where yet. Hopefully good!
