My plan for the Day Two was going around, sampling some mouth-watering dishes around Kuching particularly the one suggested by Adhie (now in Mukah).
| Mohamad Lim's Handmade Mushroom Chicken Noodles. RM 5.00nett |
The night before, Adhie mentioned about this dish. Since this was the nearest one I promised to find the place. The stall serving this dish could be found just behind the Riverside Shopping Complex inside Ting's Cafe. If you are not familiar with chopsticks, you can asked for other cutlery. But not me! I must have looked rather awkward with chopsticks cuz the girls next table giggling.
| Madam Tang's Laksa Sarawak (Medium). RM 8.50nett |
Next, I'm heading to Plaza Merdeka to try my next dish. I must say, the taste was well balance and seemed to stay with my mouth quite awhile after that. I should have asked for the large one! But then I forgot I have lunch date with Jeffery. Done with my shopping there (for my supplement as usual) I went Waterfront's Bazaar looking for souvenir.
| Kuching Station's Nasi Lelapan Puyuh. RM 12.80nett |
Change of the plan, instead of dinner Jeffery asked me for lunch. He brought me to Kuching Station. There I ordered Nasi Lelapan Puyuh, while Jeffery Nasi Lelapan Daging. The sambal was so explosively spicy we laughed at how sweaty we became while at the same time enjoying the scene outside which then raining. That was quite reminiscent for both of us. Well, we were once young right?
| Inevitably. General Election is coming tomorrow. 5th May. |
Jeffery invited me to stay at his home at Kota Samarahan but I politely declined. Saying that I have other plan tonight (I lied I sleep early last nite). After a brief visit at Pullman Hotel & Resort next to the Kuching Station, he sent me back to the hotel as we both said goodbyes hesitantly.
| Mirror, mirror on the wall.. |
Finally before I let my hair down, I took a snap of myself... I'd probably promise to the mirror that I will do more running and yoga after this. Oooo, You wish!
